ATB QUARTER MINTAGES: WHERE ARE THEY NOW? (2014 update)

Last year, I found myself bored and wondered how the mintages for the America the Beautiful (ATB) Quarter program were comparing to the recently concluded State Quarter program and found, that as of 2013, the mintage of the entire ATB Quarter program still had not exceeded, after four years of production, the first year of the State Quarter mintages.

2014's mintages have been released so I feel it is time to update this entry and compare once again.

To recap, the mintages from the 1999 State Quarter program were 2.23 billion quarters produced at the Philadelphia mint and 2.21 billion quarters produced at the Denver mint for a total mintage of 4,430.8 million quarters which broke down as follows:
Total mintage for Delaware was 774.8 million pieces
Total mintage for Pennsylvania was 707.3 million pieces
Total mintage for New Jersey was 662.2 million pieces
Total mintage for Georgia was 939.9 million pieces
Total mintage for Connecticut was 1,346.6 million pieces

Additionally, we last left off with the production percentages of ATB Quarters to date compared to State Quarter production as follows:

Of 1999 total: 62.2% with DE: 100% - PA: 100% - NJ: 100% - GA: 65.67% - CT: 0%
The combined production totals for 2010-2013 were 2,761.4 million quarters. For Georgia, an additional 322.8 million quarters will need to be produced to exceed that state's mintage in the order.

The total production of 2014 ATB Quarters was 717.4 million from the Philadelphia mint and 862.8 million from the Denver mint for a combined total of 1,580.2 million quarters, a very slight increase over the 2013 mintages.
The combined mintages of the Great Smoky Mountains and Shenandoah quarters finally pushed the ATB Quarter series to 117% of Georgia's production. However, while the 2014 quarters are now eating into Connecticut's mintage, the year's total remaining production from the Arches, Great Sand Dunes, and Everglades quarters would still not be enough to exceed 1999's mintage, though only barely, missing the mark by 89.2 million quarters.
So after five years the America the Beautiful Quarter program, now half complete, has just about equaled the State Quarter program's first year of production.

Admittedly it is not a fair comparison as both 1999 and 2000 were unusually high production years for all coins. Nevertheless I find it interesting to see the comparison unfold. I wonder in the end what the comparison percentages will be?

     As for now...

Of the 1999 total: 98.6% with DE: 100% - PA: 100% - NJ: 100% - GA: 100% - CT: 93.4%
2014-dated quarters are:
Of total 1965-1998 quarter production (37,463 million pieces): 4.22%
Of total State Quarter production (1999-2009 : 35,451.2 million pieces): 4.46%
Of total clad quarter production (1965-2014): 2.045% [about 1 in 49 quarters will be dated 2014]

And of all quarters made from 1965-2014 (77,255.8 million pieces):
1965-1998 clad quarters make up 49.5% of the total [about 1 in 2 quarters]
State Quarters make up 46.85% of the total [about 1 in 2 quarters]
1999-dated quarters make up 5.70% of the total [about 1 in 18 quarters]
ATB Quarters from 2010-2014 make up 5.62% of the total [about 1 in 18 quarters]
